Sprint and Samsung launch the new Instinct s30 touchscreen mobile phone, which has been leaked as the Instinct Mini. As the successor of the Instinct, the Instinct s30 has a 3.2-inch 240×432 LCD touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom, Bluetooth, and integrated GPS receiver.
Samsung Instinct s30 supports Sprint TV service and Live Search for Sprint, powered by Microsoft. It will be available at Sprint starting on 19 April for $129.99 with a two-year agreement, $70 instant savings and $100 mail-in rebate.

HTC announced a new bar-type QWERTY smartphone, the Snap. HTC’s Snap is a Windows Mobile 6.1 based smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard. Powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor, the Snap has 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM.

HTC Snap features a 2.4-inch LED-backlight display, a 2 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth with EDR and A2DP, integrated GPS, and a microSD card slot. The phone has a trackball with Enter button. It supports 900/2100 MHz HSDPA/WCDMA and quad-band GSM. The phone includes the Inner Circle function that allows users to easily prioritize messages from the most important people in their lives at the press of a button.
HTC Snap will be released in Q2 2009. There will be a HSDPA at 850/1900MHz version for the US market and known as HTC S522.

The X-tc, on the other hand, is a QWERTY phone with a 240×320 QVGA display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, integrated media player and a microSD card slot. It will be available for $99 with contract.

It comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a VGA camera, Bluetooth and speakerphone.

The handset was made in collaboration with Frédérique Daubal, a French designer. It features diamond-cut patterns with a crystal center key. I have a Nokia N90 smartphone that I actually use as my mobile digital camera and camcorder. While I think the device serves as an extremely good multimedia device, the lack of vibration mode keeps me from using it as a daily phone. I have had my eye on the Nokia N93 since it was announced and now that All About Symbian has the device in their hands I am even more excited about the device.The Nokia N93 is a flip phone similar to the N90 with a slightly different flip mode for landscape usage of applications other than just the camera and gallery. Specs of the N93 include a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and even 3x optical zoom, GSM/EDGE/WCDMA, 802.11b/g WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.0 radios, standard miniSD storage card implementation and TV out functionality. All of this runs in Symbian OS 9.1 with the S60 3rd Edition software so you get all the great web browsing functionality and more. This baby has everything I could find in a S60 device, except for an integrated hard drive.BTW, I understand from reading forums that this has vibration mode so it looks like I’ll be on the hunt for this incredible device to replace the N90.

Here is a recap of the specs in case you missed them - The Nokia N95 will the company's most advanced and feature packed phone till date and will sport many firsts for Nokia like the 5 Megapixel Camera with Carl Zeiss optics and HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) which puts WCMA to the shame by offering data speeds of 1-2 Mbps which can scaled all the way to 10 Mbps. You can put up your PMP on Ebay if you are planning for the N95 as it comes with a 2.6" QVGA LCD with support for 16 million colors. The Prism's diagonal keypad layout and design has been inspired by the infinite geometrical forms found in architectural surfaces. Apparently. We suspect the designer just likes Toblerone a lot. That aside, it does look rather fetching and, more to the point, it works. OK, it's no better than a keyboard designed with a slavish and exclusive devotion to ergonomics, but nor is it any the worse.One slight quibble is that neither the start- and end-call buttons, or the two soft-menu keys, are exactly were logic or custom would dictate them to be. Clearly, logic and custom didn't see eye to eye with geometric layout and got a slap.The 7500's other look-at-me feature is its 2in, 240 x 320, 16m-colour TFT display with an "organic desktop" and "event-driven themes", which is Nokia-speak for saying the screen glows in a cool and trippy manner.

Similar in many ways to the Nokia 6220, the 6230 is a business class phone that also includes features like an integrated digital camera, video recorder and a music player.Slightly larger and a touch heavier than the 6220, the Nokia 6230 brings a number of enhancements, not least being the active TFT colour display with 65,536 colours, compared with the measly 4096 colours of the 6220. However, the screen resolution is still relatively poor at 128 x 128 pixels.The quality of the camera has also been enhanced, with full VGA resolution up to 640 x 480 pixels. The camera is easy to use with the phone display used as a viewfinder, and includes useful features such as a self timer function, a choice of standard, portrait, and night modes and a choice of 3 image quality options: high, normal and basic. The video recorder has also been improved by extending the maximum duration of clips that can be recorded and played.Another welcome addition is the Bluetooth connectivity, which replaces the infrared connection of the 6220, and the faster EDGE connection.Overall the 6230 represents a significant improvement to the 6220 and is highly recommended, although it does suffer from a poor quality screen compared with other camera phones in this class.
